The role

We are looking for a Campaign Management Lead to join the team at Octave in London on a Fixed Term contract covering maternity leave.

The Octave Ad Operations Team sit at the heart of all audio advertising campaigns for three businesses, Octave, Bauer Media and News Broadcasting. As digital ad technology experts, we use both our knowledge of ad serving and the enormous amounts of data generated to deliver world class solutions with the goal of maximising revenue potential across streaming and podcast campaigns..

  • This role is responsible for the delivery and management of digital audio advertising campaigns sold by the sales teams across the Octave portfolio.
  • End to end management throughout a campaign lifecycle.
  • Working as part of a team, in a fast changing, sometimes pressured environment, to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Liaising with various ad and creative agencies, ad platforms and solution providers to deliver advertising solutions.
  • Team management responsibility of 1 direct report currently. 

Day-to-Day

  • Work with the sales teams to respond to briefs.
  • Support the sales teams with chasing creative, any technical specifications and help booking campaigns.
  • Manage the end to end process of a campaign lifecycle, including availability requests, trafficking and managing delivery of campaigns.
  • In-flight optimisation of digital advertising campaigns to ensure optimum delivery of premium inventory.
  • Team management responsibilities, including conducting 1-2-1s and performance reviews.
  • Lead the team training for any new products or processes.
  • Constantly look for ways to improve current processes and systems.
  • Working with internal teams and agencies to troubleshoot campaigns and tags.
  • Complete month end processes to support our internal teams. 
  • Ensure quality by enforcing standard policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery/performance issues and advise sales and management as to revenue risk.
  • Liaise as required with third party ad product suppliers, creative agencies and advertisers.
  • Supporting the sales team with product training.
  • First port of call for all sales requests of a certain agency patch or business. 

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience with the Adswizz ad stack, desirable but not essential.
  • Expert in campaign management at a large publisher level.
  • Exceptional problem solving and decision making skills.
  • People management skills, desirable but not essential.
  • Effective verbal and written communicator with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally with key strategic partners.
  • Strong organisational, time management, written and communication skills.
  • Ideal candidate is someone who possesses the ability to take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are driven, creative, energetic and passionate.
  • You have a desire to learn and grow within the role.
  • Comprehensive excel experience
